Cancellation and Refund Policy

Roopkotha has a thorough and comprehensive Cancellation and Return Policy. Please read it in its entirety before placing an order, to ensure a seamless and hassle-free shopping experience.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel your order before your package(s) has been handed over to the courier agents, we shall refund you the entire amount. No cancellations can be made if the courier service providers have already made the booking against your order or the order(s) have already been dispatched.
  • If, for some unfortunate reason, you need to cancel or modify your order, please do so within 1-2 hours after placing your order by emailing us at care@roopkotha.com with all details.
  • We are not liable for any delays in delivery by the Courier Company/Postal authorities. No cancellations can be made owing to the delay in receiving orders.

Return Policy

International shipments are NOT eligible for returns or exchanges. Please feel free to get in touch through email if you need any assistance or clarification before making a purchase.

For domestic shipments, all items to be returned/exchanged/refunded must meet the following conditions:

  • Returns are accepted on Sarees only. All other items are not eligible for returns/exchanges/refunds.
  • A return request must be raised within 72 hours of receiving the product by emailing us at care@roopkotha.com with your order ID and other necessary information.
  • We initiate a reverse pickup charge for which payment has to be made separately. Alternatively, you could even ship the product back on your own.
  • All returned products should be found completely unused and unhampered.
  • All original packaging of the product should be intact with no damage to either the product or its packaging.
  • Roopkotha reserves the right to do a thorough quality check of the product to ensure it is re-salable before issuing a credit, processing refunds, or exchanging the product.

Scenarios where we will NOT support Exchange/Returns:

  • Exchange request is made outside the specified time frame of 72 hours.
  • Product is damaged because of use or is not in the same condition as you had received.
  • Product is damaged due to non-adherence to the wash and care instructions.
  • Products with tampered or missing price tags or blouse fabric cut out from the saree.
  • Items that are returned without the original packaging and original bills.

Any returned item received by us that does not meet the above-mentioned conditions will not be accepted and will be returned back to the customer at their expense. No amount will be reimbursed in such cases.

Defective/Damaged Products

  • We take great care in ensuring the quality of our products, but in the rare case of a manufacturing defect that was unnoticed from our end, we would exchange, replace, or refund the item. If you receive defective or damaged product(s), please notify us at care@roopkotha.com with your order ID and pictures of the noticed defect within 48 hours of receiving the product(s), and we will take action.
  • If on arrival you discover your package is tampered with, kindly do not accept it and hand it back to the delivery person. Please email us at care@roopkotha.com mentioning your order ID, and we will do the needful. If the delivery has been accepted by you, it will be assumed that the package was received in a secure manner.

Exchange and Refund Policy

  • For domestic orders, exchanges are accepted on Sarees only. Any other item is not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
  • For exchanges/returns, please email us at care@roopkotha.com with your order ID and other key information within 72 hours of receiving the product. Please include a note explaining the reason for the return to help us improve our service.
  • Once confirmed via email, please ship the product back to us within 7 days at the following address:

  • If the return is due to a defect issue, the shipping charges will be borne by us. Please send us the courier receipt via email so we can process the shipping reimbursements.
  • After the product arrives back to us, it will undergo a thorough quality check. Once approved, it will be eligible for exchange, return, or refund.
  • If a fresh piece of the product in question is not in stock, the customer can choose a different product, take a credit note (valid for a year), or receive a full refund. Please specify your preference in the email.
  • If you wish to exchange your product with another product of a lower amount, we will ship the new product and refund the balance amount, or provide a credit note for the balance.
  • To exchange for a higher valued product, pay the difference in amount and ship the product to us. We will send the requested product once the payment is confirmed.
  • Refunds and shipping reimbursements will be processed and settled within 4-7 days after the product is cancelled or received by us. The settlement depends on the banking cycle and typically takes 4-7 working days. Instant refunds are not an option.
